Delta Tau Omega Chapter celebrated its 70th Chapter Anniversary on Saturday, November 11, 2017 with an evening affair themed Sensational at Seventy: Launching New Dimensions of Sisterhood and Service. The chapter was honored to host Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson, International President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., who served as the evening’s keynote speaker. Over 200 sorority members and guests attended the celebration and enjoyed live music, dancing, keynote address, and remarks by Lansing Mayor Virgil Bernero and Dr. Eva L. Evans. Event proceeds were donated to the Olivia I. Letts Commitment to the Dream Fund through the sorority’s Educational Advancement Foundation. Dr. Letts has been a dedicated member of Delta Tau Omega Chapter for well over 60 years. In the chapter’s 70-year history, we have positively impacted the lives of the citizens in Greater Lansing.
